their hotel room, a lot of services all with a perfect digital quality.
Through the in-room TV it is possible to choose among the following
options: movie, Internet, music, sport, hotel services.
The surfing
through the various screen options of the system is extremely easy:
it is only necessary to utilize the arrows on the remote control
and push the OK key to confirm a selection.
TV
& MOVIES
The guest who
wishes to watch a movie has a large choice at disposal, from the
latest hits to the big classic ones, from kids' movies to those
strictly for adults.
Families travelling with children can block the access to the channels
for adults directly from the TV set.
The perfect quality of images and sound guarantees an unforgettable
experience!!!
INTERNET
Almost
all the hotels allow Internet surfing from the in-room TV set, but
the Four Points Sheraton goes beyond thanks to GENESIS, since it
lets the guest choose to access Internet through the in-room TV
or one’s own laptop. Both are high-speed connections (2mbps)
and use an ADSL line. NB Internet connection is only possible with
operating systems win 95,98, 2000 e NT (unfortunately it does not
work with Apple Macs).
Through the laptop connection, one can simultaneously utilize the
other services offered by Genesis: for example if two persons are
travelling together it may occur that one of the two has to work
(download the e-mails or make some researches), while the other
wishes to watch a movie or listen to some music.
MUSIC
GENESIS offers
the first digital ‘jukebox’ in the hotel. Guests can choose
among about 1500 pieces subdivided into five categories: Latest
Hits, Rock, Pop, Classic / Jazz and finally any kind of vocalists.
SPORT
Guests of The
Four Points Milan Hotel Sheraton will also be able to access a directory
completely dedicated to sport. It will be possible to choose between
a sport library, which will contain classical sport events as well
as up to the minute information on the latest sporting events worldwide...
HOTEL
SERVICES
GENESIS provides
complementary services of assured interest.
First of all the wake up service can be programmed through the
TV set thus replacing the annoying phone ring. Indeed instead
of the phone ringing guests will be gently awkened by the soft
diffused light of the TV and an increasing but always gentle sound
of a beeper...
Finally, the guest can receive directly in the room some general
information (through the personalized hotel directory), or personal
messages to be read on the TV screen.
